NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT


1. The resumed hearing of the appellant's appeal was due to take place on 20 June 2016 before the Upper Tribunal. By way of a letter dated 16 June 2016, the respondent has notified the Upper Tribunal that the appellant and her dependants will be granted 5 years Humanitarian Protection.

2. In the circumstances, by virtue of Section 104(4A) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002, the Upper Tribunal will treat the appellant's appeal brought under section 82(1) as abandoned.

3. The effect of this is that the proceedings before the Upper Tribunal are at an end.
